Adam Matano is a professional artist and educator, specializing in figurative sculpture. Adam studied at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in Connecticut, receiving a BFA in Sculpture.
Although Adam’s main training was in the human figure, he has always had a special love for animals. This has inspired him to apply his knowledge of the human figure to sculpting them. He is a signature member of the Society of Animal Artists, an elected member of the National Sculpture Society and an artist member of the California Art Club. His work has most recently been shown at the Autry Museum, Los Angeles CA.
Currently, Adam works and lives in Los Angeles, exhibiting his sculptures and teaching
both figurative and animal sculpture.
