Mark Edward Adams was born in Tucson, Arizona in an artistic family. Despite his initial artistic influence, Mark gravitated toward science. While working as a scientist, Mark discovered his passion for sculpture. He studied classical sculpture at the Florence Academy of Art and subsequently mentored under the sculptor Rod Zullo. In 2013, Mark was awarded the “Beverly Hoyt Robertson Memorial Award” by the National Sculpture Society. In 2016 he became an Elected Member of the National Sculpture Society. His work has been exhibited at the Gilcrease Museum, Tampa Museum of Art, Brookgreen Gardens, and The Booth Western Art Museum.
