Amanda Houston

Amanda has been inspired by much of the world. She now lives on 30 breath-taking acres in Cornelius, O.R. capturing the beauty of the landscapes that surround her. After spending almost 20 years in the corporate world as L.L. Bean’s first apparel designer in the 80’s, Nike’s first Apparel Innovation Director in the 90’s and helping Nike launch their first e-commerce site  during the dot-com boom, she left the big paying salary to start a family and began to paint. After painting for 16 years, first as a hobby and now as a nationally published and internationally collected artist she is represented by 6 galleries along the west coast

. She offers multi day in person and online workshops and creativity retreats nationally and internationally as well as Creativity coaching and Master level mentoring programs. She lives in Willamette wine country near Hillsboro OR on 32 gorgeous acres and splits her time between OR and the San Juan Islands and traveling to Europe, squeezing time to paint wherever she is. As a retired triathlete, when she’s not doing her art she still loves to ride her bike, swim, do yoga, cook, garden, and travel.
