Carrie Curran

Carrie Curran is a professional artist living in Arizona merging her passions for art and business. She is the well-known founder and lead instructor of Creative Color Art Studios, which offers a comprehensive selection of kids and adult art classes and was one of the first wine and paint destinations in Arizona. Her widely established Young Vincent’s program offers art education and special events for children and teens. Carrie is the founder of the Youth Academy at the Scottsdale Artist’s School and worked passionately for many years to develop the program and other community arts and education programs. Known for her plein air work and bold, oversized floral canvas oil works, her paintings are full of life, movement, and texture. Carrie’s paintings are collected internationally in both private and corporate collections. She studied first with her mother and then with well-respected artists around the country, including Quang Ho, Sherrie McGraw, Matt Smith, and Kevin McPherson. Her instruction and mentorship have provided the foundation for professional success in the fine arts to thousands of students for over three decades. Carrie was the coordinator for PACE2018 Basics Course, an instructor for PAL2020, coordinator for PACE2022 Basics Course, and will be again leading the Basics Course PACE 2023 in Colorado.
