Chuck Marshall

Chuck was born in Wilmington, Ohio, in the small town of New Antioch.
He studied one year at the Art Institute of Cincinnati before moving on to study at the California Art Institute in Southern California. His art career includes many years as an illustrator and graphic designer as well as his fine art.

Chuck has been invited to and participated in many national plein air competitions, such as Olmsted Plein Air Invitational, Atlanta Georgia, Door County, Wisconsin, Great American Paint Out, in the Apalachicola/ Panhandle Florida area, Wayne Plein Air, PA, En Plein Air, Texas, Plein Air Eureka Springs, AK, Paint Grand Traverse, MI, Finger Lakes Plein Air, NY, and Cape Ann Plein Air Festival in Massachusetts.

Beyond being an award winner in the mentioned plein air events, he has participated and won awards in other national events such as the Annual American Impressionist Society’s competition and Oil Painters of America.

He is also a member of the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters, and has participated in their annual plein air event in the Grand Teton National Park. He is a member of the Ohio Plein Air Society, and the Cincinnati Art Club. Chuck has been published in International Artist Magazine, American Artist Magazine, Plein Air Magazine, Art Connoisseur, Southwest Art Magazine, and American Art Collector.

His work can be seen at the Charles Fine Arts Gallery in Glouster MA, the Eisele Gallery of Fine Art, Cincinnati, Ohio, Castle Gallery, IN, and Hayley Gallery, New Albany, Ohio.

Chuck’s work can also be seen at the Museum Of Spiritual Art located in Franklin Ohio, where he has a large number of figurative works and landscapes.”
