Jill Basham
Jill Basham is a Maryland artist that is drawn to atmosphere and mood. “I strive to get my paintings to a point in which I truly feel the place I have painted. Each painting is an experiment that is unfolding, the truly moving pieces are the ones that I pushed a bit.”
Membership includes The Salmagundi Club, NYC, AIS and OPA. Jill was honored to receive “Best of Show” from judge C.W. Mundy in the 2018 Door County Plein Air, and has won numerous awards nationwide. Jill’s work hangs in corporate, museum, embassy and private collections nationally and internationally.
