Jill Stefani Wagner
Whatever she paints, Wagner’s primary focus is always “the light” and how it affects the scene she’s capturing. Working in pastel and oil, she approaches her paintings as a sculptor would, carving out nuances of light and shadow.
Jill is a devoted plein air artist, painting in national plein air festivals. A Master pastelist, Jill also belongs to Oil Painters of America and American Impressionist Society. Her work is frequently published in Fine Art Connoisseur and Plein Air Magazine. She’s been faculty at PACE 4 times.
Wagner owned a design firm before “seeing the light” and becoming a full-time artist.
