Joe Anna Arnett
Joe Anna Arnett earned a BFA degree from the University of Texas. After a successful career in advertising, she continued studies at the NY Art Students League for four years. Joe Anna was a featured artist on the PBS series Passport & Palett. She exhibited in the Prix de West show at the National Cowboy Hall of Fame for 14 years. In 1997, she became a Master Artist of the Artists in America Show, and was honored by the Gilcrease Museum as a featured artist in the Rendezvous exhibition. Arnett is a Signature Member of Oil Painters of America, a Master Signature member of Plein Air Artists Colorado, and signature member of Laguna Plein Air Painters.
Arnett has been featured in Plein Air Magazine, The International Herald Tribune, The Artists’ Magazine, Southwest Art, and Western Art Digest. She has contributed to five North Light books and authored “Painting Sumptuous Vegetables, Fruits and Flowers in Oil” for North Light. She and artists James Asher founded Artful Partners to produce art instruction videos of the highest quality. A dedicated teacher, Arnett has taught workshops in the US and around the world for over twenty years.
