A native of Southern California, Kim believes it is essential to paint with commitment and fearlessly experiment. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration from the California College of the Arts. Recently she was featured in the Oct/Nov issue of PleinAir Magazine, the Oct. issue of Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine. A few of her 2019 awards include: Best of Show in the March BoldBrush competition, two Best Oil awards in the Plein Air Salon, 3rd Place in the Plein Air Salon, 1st Place in the Randy Higbee 6” Squared National Show, 3rd Place in the Oil Painters of America Summer Showcase, and she was an ARC Salon Finalist.
