Mary Veiga

Growing up on beautiful Maryland farmland with her love of horseback riding, Mary drew from a sense of belonging as her artistic journey began. Recognized for her talent at an early age Mary continued to hone her skills at MICA and mentorship through renowned artists. Influenced by J.M.W. Turner and George Innes her work reflects the emotional and tonalistic mastery in color and texture.

Since 1995 Mary has built a successful mural business which led into fineart and plein air painting.Her award winning work has been featured in Good House Keeping Magazine, HGTV, Maryland Farm and Harvest,Chesapeake Living Magazine and many more. A dedicated teacher, she shares her passion for art at The Mitchell School of Fine Art and through private instruction.
Marys landscape paintings are represented at several prominent galleries.

Mary lives with her family in Baltimore and Tighman Island Maryland while actively participating in art commmunities
