Pre Convention Workshop with Kevin MacPherson

Colorful conversations — live your life beyond your wildest dreams. Embark on your artistic odyssey.

Here’s yet another reason to join the Plein Air Convention in Santa Fe this April! Master painter Kevin Macpherson will be offering a pre-convention workshop on May 16 and 17.

During this two-day hands-off workshop*, Kevin will help illuminate the path to a successful art career. Kevin’s demonstrations will break down the complexity of painting and reveal the magical process in simple-to-understand terms that you can apply immediately to your own painting.

Kevin devotes significant energy to nurturing aspiring artists around the world with his books, writing, videos, lectures, and workshops. He shares all he knows (and if he doesn’t know something, he is the first to make it up!). Kevin’s colorful paintings are inspiring, and his lectures are filled with information punctuated by humor. He makes learning fun and will help you find your purpose and paint with passion.

While painting he’ll include secrets he has discovered over decades about how to fundamentally improve your paintings, offering advice for the aspiring artist and professional painter.

Kevin is happy to take questions, and he invites you to submit some of your questions in advance.

Day one begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break (on your own).

Day two begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. (Convention official opening is at 4 p.m.)
