I was born in Kentucky in 1953. I studied Art and art History at the University of California, Berkeley in 198. Since then I have worked as an architectural illustrator and sometimes as a muralist for various museums and exhibits. For the past 10 years I’ve been involved with Plein air painting events across the country winning top awards in such prestigious events like Plein Air Easton,, Wayne Plein Air Festival , Paint Annapolis , and Olmsted Invitational among many others. I am proud to have won the Plein Air Salon top prize in 2014. I work primarily in watercolor but have been known to pull out the oils from time to time.
