Classically trained Russian-born American artist Vladislav Yeliseyev received his formal art education in 1977 and later earned his Master’s Degree at The Moscow Institute of Architecture where he received academic training in Fine Arts and Architecture.
Vlad is a signature member of American Impressionist Society, National Watercolor society and Florida Watercolor Society.
His most recent awards are 2018 American Impressionist Society Plein Air Magazine of Excellence, 2018 Best quick draw award at Olmsted Plein Air Invitational, 2018 Best Architectural painting award at Olmsted Plein Air Invitational, Best of Show Mountain Maryland paint out awards in 2016 and 2017, Bold Brush Outstanding watercolor award in March and September 2017, First Place 2017 Florida Watercolor Society, First Place Award – 2017 Adirondack Plein Air Festival, Quick Draw Public Award Forgotten Coast Plein Air Invitational 2017. Vlad was also a winner of American Watercolor Society 2015 Annual International competition.
His work is prominently featured in 2018 March issue of French publication Art of Watercolor, 2016 February issue of Watercolor Artist magazine where he is also chosen as a cover artist and featured with comprehensive article in July 2017 Plein Air Magazine.
In the last four years Vladislav participated as an invited judge and participating artist in about forty national paint out events and art exhibits.
Currently he is represented by Troika Gallery in Easton Ma, Stakenborg Fine Art Gallery, Galleria Silecchia in Sarasota, Fl.
