Project Description
Charlie Hunter
Purveyor of the morose and depictor of deindustrialization, Charlie Hunter’s distinctive low-chroma landscapes in Cobra water-mixable oils have won him a somewhat inexplicable warm spot in the heart of plein air painters everywhere. Ably abetted by his faithful water girl Betty Soo, Hunter roams the alleyways of Bellows Falls, VT, weilding his squeegee in service to the 19th century small-town industrial dystopia that surrounds him. His cats wish he would just quit it and give them the good food.
