A third generation landscape painter, I remember my first interest in painting like it was yesterday. In 9th grade, while driving with my dad I mentioned “I’d like to try painting”.
The next day I woke up and laid out on the kitchen table was everything you could ever possibly need to paint a watercolor. That was 20 years ago and I’ve been painting ever since. I have a BFA in Painting and Drawing from SCSU, and currently operate a studio consisting of studio art, commission work, murals, and teaching. I live in St. Cloud, MN with my wife Mallory, newborn son Jack, and plein air painting canine bud – Ruby.
