Doug Dawson

Dawson received awards from Pastel Society of America, American Watercolor Society, Knickerbocker Artists, National Academy of Western Art, South Eastern Pastel Society, Pastel Society of West Coast, Pastel Society of New Mexico, Audubon Artists, Kansas Pastel Society, Pastel Society of the Southwest, and International Association of Pastel Societies. He was declared” Master Pastelest” by the Pastel Society of America. He is a member the Master Circle of the International Association of Pastel Societies, he is in the Pastel Society of America’s Hall of Fame.

He’s been in over 14 museums and over 40 books and magazine. He wrote a book “Capturing light and Color with Pastel.
