Hector Acuna

Hector Acuna is an artist and educator in Grafton, Wisconsin. He received a BFA from UW-Stevens Point (2015) and an MFA at Michigan State University (2020). He has taught classes in drawing, painting, and color/design. Hector has been painting en plein air since 2014 and started participating in plein air events in 2021. His work is held in public and private collections and has received numerous awards including Best of Show at the 2022 Door County Plein Air Festival. At PACE23 Hector was recognized with the M. Stephen Doherty Breakthrough Artist of the Year Award by Plein Air Magazine.
