Al Bond
Alexander Bond founded Plein Air Easton 15 years ago in partnership with Nancy Tankersley as a project of the Avalon Foundation. At the time he was the Economic Development Director for the Town of Easton. 10 years ago he became the President and CEO of the Avalon Foundation, continuing to lead Plein Air Easton. The Avalon Foundation has grown to be the largest arts organization on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Plein Air Easton is the largest outdoor painting competition in the United States.
