Kathleen Dunphy
Kathleen Dunphy’s rapid success in the competitive art world was predicted when American Artist Magazine named her one of the Top Ten Emerging Artists in 1998. In 2000, Kathleen was awarded a scholarship to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Kathleen’s honors include Best of Show from the American Impressionist Society; twelve California Art Club Gold Medal Shows; eight magazine articles; the Federal Duck Stamp Competition; Birds in Art; Arts for the Parks; Grand Prize at the Acadia Invitational Exhibition; and many others. Kathleen is a member of the Society of Animal Artists and has attained signature status in the Plein Air Painters of America, California Art Club, Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society, Laguna Plein Air Painters, American Society of Marine Artists, and Artists for Conservation.
