American Realist Natasha Isenhour, conveys her emotional response to landscape, architecture and still-life in oil and in pastel. From a distance a first impression is the realistic feeling of the work, but a closer look reveals a contemporary edge where her mark-making controls the impressions of mass and delicacy.
Isenhour was awarded People’s Choice at Borrego Springs Plein Air Invitational in March 2022. Also this year, Oct 25th– Dec 4th, she has the honor of a solo exhibition of new work, “The Beautiful Lonesome,” at the Taos Art Museum at Fechin House. To cap off the year, Isenhour will have a solo show, “Essentially Isenhour,” at Ventana Fine Art on Canyon Road in Santa Fe, NM, opening December 2nd and going through the end of the year. Natasha teaches about 6 workshops a year, including 3-4 at the historic Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, New Mexico as well as living on the ranch for a month each year in residency.
