Project Description

Peter Adams

Peter spent seven years in diligent formal training at the Lukits Academy, including four years as the personal apprentice to the renowned painter Theodore N. Lukits. In 1981 he became the first American artist to travel and paint unescorted through the People’s Republic of China.

Today he combines Eastern design concepts with the Western sense of depth through atmosphere. Peter has served on the boards of many art clubs and universities, including as president of the California Art Club since 1993.
