Project Description

Rick Wilson was born and still lives in Indiana and is regarded as one of Indiana’s top artists. Rick’s most recent accomplishment was a 70-painting tribute to Indiana’s State Parks as part of the Indiana Bicentennial Celebration. Rick was awarded recognition by the state of Indiana for his work on this project.

Rick’s influences include the French Barbizon School, Hudson River Schools and American Impressionists and include artists such as Theadore Rousseau, Charles-Francois Daubigny, Jules Dupre, Alfred T. Bricher, Asher B. Durand, Albert Bierstadt, Edgar Alwin Payne & John Singer Sargent.
