Turner
Turner Vinson’s aim and goal as an artist is to represent the world around him. Turner often finds inspiration for paintings in his own backyard, a family member’s gaze, or the landscape that surrounds him. The vast majority of his work is done from direct observation, painted from life. Choosing to work this way allows for an intimate experience with the subject matter that is difficult to obtain with other processes. The time invested in each location provides a deep connection, understanding, and experience that he hopes to communicate in each painting.
